Sally Potter MBACP Accred Psychotherapist and Executive Coach
I believe our life purpose is to become who we really are. We are innately creatures of pleasure, satisfaction, meaning and connectedness. We lose track of these core essentials through the hurts and difficulties of living in an imperfect world. Finding our way to live these natural basic truths is the journey of a life well-lived, and the prime concern of psychotherapy
Releasing the Authentic Inner Being
From her early career in education through to her current reputation as a leading senior practitioner in Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP), Sally has pursued her passion for the personal and professional growth of individuals at all stages of life.
After becoming involved in management development via applied bioenergetics, Sally became a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University’s School of Management in 2003. She contributes to leadership development at Cranfield as a lecturer, personal development facilitator and executive coach.
As a Masters-qualified relationship therapist, Sally is fully accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. For seven years she contributed to the work of the UK’s national relationship charity Relate, helping couples from all walks of life to handle their challenges and dilemmas. This training and experience further equip her to offer an unique brand of support and insight to individuals and couples seeking the courage to change and to face relationship issues.
Pioneering
Since 2000 Sally has been a UK pioneer of the PBSP – which uniquely combines psychodynamic and systemic influences with key elements of neuroscience – culminating in her current position as internationally accredited practitioner providing both therapy for clients and training for therapists across Europe.
Sally’s insights spring largely from the interconnections between mind and body, underpinned by her specific expertise in relationship dynamics.
Her professional techniques empower her executive clients to access the full extent of their inner potential, bringing added integrity and authenticity to the corporate value systems and cultures in which they work. Her private psychotherapy clients have discovered personal resilience and fulfilled lives.
It is her sensitive, open approach that is at the heart of Sally’s success in distilling complex psychological concepts into pragmatic solutions to support daily working lives. In addressing the dynamics that often underlie performance issues, Sally brings energy and clarity of purpose to her training workshops – delivering highly engaging delegate sessions across all programmes.
